العراق وقطر في قمة ملتهبة لحجز بطاقة التأهل

تتجه الانظار الى دبي التي تحتضن مباراة القمة بين العراق وقطر في الجولة السادسة والاخيرة من منافسات المجموعة الاولى ضمن الدور الثالث للتصفيات الاسيوية المؤهلة الى كأس العالم لكرة القدم في جنوب افريقيا عام 2010.
وتلعب استراليا التي ضمنت احدى بطاقتي المجموعة الى الدور الرابع والنهائي مع الصين في المجموعة ذاتها.
وتتصدر استراليا الترتيب برصيد 10 نقاط، يليها العراق (7 نقاط، له اربعة اهداف وعليه خمسة)، ثم قطر (7 نقاط، لها اربعة اهداف وعليها ستة)، وتأتي الصين رابعة واخيرة بثلاث نقاط. واستنادا الى نظام التصفيات، فانه في حال تعادل منتخبين في عدد النقاط، ينظر الى فارق الاهداف لتحديد المتأهل منهما، ثم الى المنتخب الذي سجل اكبر عدد من الاهداف وبعدها الى النتيجتين المباشرتين بينهما.
ويملك العراق بالتالي فرصتي الفوز والتعادل لمرافقة اليابان الى الدور الرابع، في حين لا تملك قطر سوى خيار الفوز.
وكانت الجولة السابقة شهدت قلقا لاوراق المجموعة بعد خسارة قطر في الدوحة امام استراليا 1-3 وتأهل الاخيرة، وفوز العراق على الصين في تيانجين 2-1.
التقى المنتخبان العراقي والقطري في الجولة الثانية من التصفيات وفاز حينها المنتخب القطري 2-صفر في الدوحة.
ويتوقع ان تكون مباراة اليوم مثيرة وملتهبة وسط سباق محموم بين المنتخبين من اجل الظفر بالبطاقة الثانية عن المجموعة باتجاه الدور الحاسم والنهائي
