النادي الإنجليزي يرد بحزم على نجمه البرتغالي

علن نادي مانشيستر يونايتد في خطوة حازمة أنه لن يقدّم على منح عقدٍ جديد لنجم الفريق كريستيانو رونالدو يمنحه من خلاله زيادة على أجره الأسبوعي محذّراً بأن تصرفات اللاعب وتصريحاته المتكررة لن تجبر إدارة النادي على تنفيذ رغبته في زيادة أجره في محاولة إبقائه في صفوف الفريق.

وكان من المنتظر ان يجتمع رونالدو بممثلي ناديه الإنجليزي بعد نهاية بطولة الأمم الأوروبية لمناقشة بنود عقده الجديد والتي تقضي بحصوله على مبلغ 152 ألف يورو أسبوعياً إلا أن موقف النادي الإنجليزي لا يبشر بأي تقدّم في هذه المفاوضات.

وذكر متحدث باسم نادي مانشيستر يونايتد أن الضجة الإعلامية التي أثيرت مؤخراً حول انتقال رونالدو بتوجيه من نادي ريال مدريد لن تؤثر في مواقف النادي كما فعلت باللاعب، حيث أوضح قائلاً: "يبدو أن الحديث عن المبالغ الهائلة التي سيقدّمها نادي ريال مدريد لرونالدو من خلال وسائل الإعلام قد سيّطر تماماً على تفكير اللاعب لكننا لن نسمح له بلعب الدور نفسه علينا ولن يحصل بذلك على أي بنسٍ أكثر منا".

وعلى عكس التقارير الإخبارية المتلاحقة والتي أشارت إلى أن السير أليكس فيرغسون طلب من النادي تقديم عرض خيالي لرونالدو يجبره فيه على البقاء في صفوف مانشيستر يونايتد فإن المدير الفني أبدى وقوفه إلى جانب إدارة النادي والتي تتطلع لفرض سيطرتها ونفوذها على اللاعب لقبول البقاء في الفريق وفق العقد الذي يربطه حالياً والذي يمتد لغاية خمس مواسم مقبلة وبالأجر نفسه.
